Facade

Tilburg, April 2004

 

The facade is listed as a monument, it has remained standing after the rest of the building has been removed, supported by steel beams. I painted the beams on the back and front of the facade in different layers of green; ranging from very dark to yellow-green. The vertical pieces of wood behind the steel, which also not originally belong to the facade, were painted dark green. The facade now became like one of my paintings.
